There are rumours abound that a major American Music Festival could be coming to Australia by the end of the year and no it isn’t another international leg of Lollapalooza (but I live in hope for that), it’s the Hangout Beach, Music and Arts Festival which happens on Alabama’s Gulfcoast. The Courier Mail has reported that promoter’s TEG Dainty who recently promoted The Gunners Not in this Lifetime Australian tour, are hoping to bring the mega festival to Australia. But where could such a festival suitable for beaches and good weather go? Our friends to the north appear to be the lucky ones with Coolangatta slated as the place for the festival. But it’s not all set in stone to go ahead with approval still to be given by Gold Coast City Council and a few of the Councillors aren’t on board for a beach based music festival. Watch this space!
