Ever since the release of Mass Effect Andromeda, fans have been divided over the series. Many are upset about the general lack of polish while others see past the issues and just enjoy the game.

However a recently released patch which addressed a few concerns such as the rigid facial animations among other things has locked out some players from playing at all!

DSOG reports the 1.05 patch has upgraded the game’s Denuvo anti-tamper software to stop pirates from being able to play their illegally downloaded version.

This update will keep pirates from cracking the game, and anyone still running a cracked version won’t be able to upgrade their copy with the new patch.  I guess pirates will have to stick with giant glowing eyes, wobbly legs and stiff facial animations forever – the modern day gamer’s nightmare. Or, you know, you could just buy the game.
