In other news Korn have announced that their bass player Reginald ‘Fieldy’ Arvizu won’t be on their upcoming South American tour due to unforeseen circumstances but they have announced a twelve year old will be taking his place.

No, that’s not a late April fool’s joke, the son of Metallica Bass player Robert Trujillo, Tye Trujillo who currently plays in Northern Californian band The Helmets will be playing with Korn for a run of shows.

In a statement Korn said that they ‘Are bummed that Fieldy can’t join us on this run but excited to do a few gigs with a young player like Tye’. The statement goes on to say that Fieldy will be rejoining the band from early May. Last October Korn stated they plan to be coming back to Australia during the album cycle for The Serenity of Suffering but nothing has been announced yet.
