Tool overnight have clarified what the mysterious date 06-24 means which was posted earlier this week. No, Tool fans it isn’t when the album that is very long expected will be released, in fact it has nothing to do with their album at all. It will be a gig that is being hyped as an unparalleled sonic and visual experience (Tool shows certainly don’t skimp on the massive visuals and lighting rigs) happening at the Glen Helen Amphitheatre in San Bernardino, California (This was predicted by a number of fans on twitter!). The billing of the show is pretty impressive with Tool headlining and their set possibly featuring the material that they have been working on in the studio for the past year. Supports will be coming from Primus and The Melvins along with DJ sets by The Crystal Method and ‘an additional special guest’.
