Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed!
Developer Rockstar, who created the Grand Theft Auto series, revealed in a Facebook post their follow-up to the 2010 smash hit Red Dead Redemption will be pushed back from a 2017 release to spring 2018. As we know America’s spring is our autumn so we’ll likely see it between March and May next year.
The company wrote “this outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans.”
To make up for the delay, they dropped some fantastic new screenshots of their upcoming game that look so hyper-realistic you’ll have to see them to believe them. Check them out for yourself below!
