Well if two former promoters of Soundwave are to be believed then yes, the rumoured Aussie leg of European festival Download could be getting announced next month.
For the past year there’s been industry murmurs that Download and it’s promoters were eyeing off an Aussie leg of their festival, but that was last year. Step forward not only AJ Maddah but fellow former Soundwave promoter Chris O’Brien who is now a part of touring and promotions company Destroy All Lines. In answer of a few queries on Twitter both men stated that there should be an announcement next Month for the festival, with Maddah doubling down on the fact that he’s 99% sure that the festival will happen in March of next year.
