With the latest Call of Duty releasing year by year, often it is clear when a trend occurs. Now with World War 2 Releasing in under two weeks time, we are now at the stage when any day we can expect a Launch trailer for the title. Now how do we know this? When will we see a launch trailer? Let’s find out.
So of course it goes without saying that it’s impossible to predict when we will definitely see a launch trailer, which will include all THREE modes, these being the Campaign, Multiplayer & Zombies modes all coming to World War 2. Let’s start with some trends we have noticed over the years.
Release Dates of Launch Trailers:
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare: October 17, 2016
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3: October 22, 2015
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare: October 18, 2014
Call of Duty: Ghosts: October 21, 2013
So with the above trends, it’s clear that it is around this time of the year that we see launch trailers for our upcoming Call of Duty title. Why haven’t we seen a trailer yet?
It all comes down to the day and date. We can say that the above dates were all BEFORE today’s date, October 22, 2017, however at the time of writing this article it is now Sunday within Australia. Last year, we saw the trailer launched on a Monday, October 17, with the year before that Treyarch releasing their Launch trailer for Black Ops 3 on a Thursday, followed by Sledgehammer (Developers of World war 2) on a Saturday.
Our guess, going off of the above trends I believe we may expect to see a launch trailer either on Monday the 23rd of October or Tuesday the 24th of October.
Let us know what you think! Exciting times ahead!
