New Bring Me The Horizon album to be more ‘mainstream’?

Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia / 99.3 B-Rock FM

We’ve been given a bit of insight into what the new Bring Me The Horizon album may sound like and fans of the traditional metalcore sound maybe a little disappointed with lead singer Oli Sykes telling Kerrang that the new album will see the band become more mainstream. In the interview Sykes says ‘We like the idea of breaking into the mainstream. We’re not ashamed of that, we don’t see it as selling out, we see it as a great challenge, to make music that can be adored by more people but still retain who we are. That is the goal. He goes on to say that the band have about 30 songs being worked on. No word on when the new album will drop but hopefully we’ll hear some of the new material by the end of the year
