The Brian Jonestown Massacre will be in the country soon for a run of shows but it was a recent chat with themusic.com.au that pricked a few ears, with Anton Newcombe allegedly stating that his band and The Dandy Warhols are next year doing some ‘crazy show outside of Melbourne in some amphitheatre vineyard thing’. Hmm, that sounds like an A Day On The Green amphitheatre vineyard thing. Now, we state allegedly because when this news was tweeted by musicfeeds.com.au, Anton Newcombe replied saying ‘That’s not what I said, there goes your clickbait’. Once we get to the bottom of it we’ll let you all know. He’s hoping it does happen!
