Today EA and DICE officially revealed the latest entry in their long running Battlefield series Battlefield V, and it looks like it’s going back to its roots … again. Battlefield V will return to World War II following the success of Battlefield One and Activision’s Call Of Duty World War II.

So when can we get our hands on it?! Battlefield V will launch on October 19th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. EA Access members will be able to play the game over a week in advance from October 11th, while the game’s Deluxe Edition will allow owners to play three days earlier from October 16th.

EA also announced this entry will not feature a premium pass and instead a live service called Tides of War will be the centre focus of the game experience. Oh, and it’ll be completely free!

The Tides of War  experience will include:

-New vehicles
-New weapons
-Dog tags and emblems
-Face paint
-Soldier skins
-Weapon skins
