One of the surprise inclusions, but still an awesome band to check out, on the bill for the inaugural Australian Download Festival was American lads Good Charlotte and it doesn’t appear the bands reformation isn’t slowing down with the 5 piece announcing a huge show in London for next year and dropping a new track from their forthcoming album ‘Generation Rx’ which is due out on the 14th of September. The new track ‘Actual Pain’ was written by the band reflecting on losing friends, fellow artists and being able to survive afterwards. It isn’t their traditional pop punk sound but combines a slower tempo with rock and electro elements. Hopefully we’ll hear a few more tunes before the album drops on the 14th of September.
