In completely unexpected news, The Kinks are getting back together to record a new album. This will be the first album for the legendary 60s Brit band since 1993 and it’ll be the first time they have performed together since 1996. Speaking to Channel 4 news in the UK, The Kinks main man Ray Davies said ‘I think it’s kind of an appropriate time to do it’. No word on when the record will be finished and released and whether the band will head out on tour with but we’ll let you know if there are any updates.
