The man who we lost last year with the iconic voice, Chris Cornell, will be immortalised in statue form in his home town of Seattle. The Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman’s widow Vicky announced the details on what would’ve been his 54th birthday (July 20th). The statue designed by sculptor Nick Marras will stand at Cornell’s height of 6’3” and will feature Cornell strapped with a guitar, his customary dog tags holding a pick in full rock pose. It be housed at Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture where it will be unveiled on the 29th of August.
