Born and bred in Bathurst, Benny is B-Rock's longest serving announcer having joined in 1997 and returning in 2010.
Benny loves rock radio and pumping out quality tunes each and every morning on the B-Rock FM Morning Show. He's won a few awards over the years and to prove that claim, we'll name them: Best Sales Promotion ACRA for 'Jingle Bell Rock' 2003, the Best Music Director ACRA 2002 & 2003 and The Music Network Best Music Director Scholarship to the USA 2004.
Here's a bit more about Benny.
Benny loves his rock music and likes to play it loud. He is a keen supporter of the arts in the local community and has directed eight very successful Rock Eisteddfod Challenge performances for Bathurst PCYC and is also Vice President for the Carillon Theatrical Society. In 2010 Benny played the lead role of Max Bialystock in the CTS production of 'The Producers' and received critical acclaim for his performance. This year Benny directed the HUGELY success 'Joseph & The Amazing Technicoloured Dreramcoat'
Benny enjoys stand-up comedy, movies, video games, cooking, homebrewing and sports. Benny is a keen supporter of Bathurst Bulldogs Rugby Union Club, NRL, V8 Supercars, Cricket and AFL.
After a hard days work "down the mine" at B-Rock, Benny loves retreating to his 'man-cave' he and his cronies have dubbed 'The Holden Bar'
