Colin Moriarty leaves Kinda Funny over ‘offensive tweet’

Co-host of Kinda Funny Colin Moriarty was in hot water last week for posting an offensive tweet on International Women’s Day, and now he has quit his gaming show.

The tweet, which had everyone pointer daggers at Colin, read ‘Ah. Peace and quiet #ADayWithoutAWoman’

He quickly defended his tweet as a ‘blatantly obvious joke’ however the damage had already been done with fans and former colleagues lashing back.

Moriarty announced on Facebook that he’d be stepping down in a post that read ‘It’s with a heavy heart and great sadness that I announce my resignation from Kinda Funny, effective immediately.’

Despite his resignation, he’s optimistic about new opportunities, writing ‘you haven’t seen or heard the last of me. Far from it.’
