Sony has just reminded us that buying video games with an online multiplayer aspect is a risky choice. This week the Japanese publisher announced that on July 1st 2017 they’re pulling the plug on six video games with online components. Hopefully you’re not too attached to the following:

PS4:
Kill Strain

PS3:
High Velocity Bowling
Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest
Sports Champions
Sports Champions 2

PS Vita:
ModNation Racers: Road Trip

A few of these titles have been around for a number of years – one even dating back to 2007 – so it’s understandable why their player base has dropped off. However the PS4’s Kill Strain is less than a year old.

I guess if you play any of these games you’ve got just over two months to make the most out of it!

Other Sony PlayStation games with deactivated servers include Gran Turismo 5, Resistance 1, 2 and 3, Fat Princess: Piece of Cake, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, MLB 14: The Show and Smart As.
