A fan favourite character from Steven Soderbergh’s slick and cool Oceans trilogy will make a return in the all-female remake!
The legendary comedy writer Carl Reiner, who played the old-pro Saul Bloom, will cameo in the Sandra Bullock lead instalment. Reiner had nothing but nice things to say about his ‘favourite actress Sandra Bullock’ saying ‘it was such a pleasure’ to have a scene together, and that she’s ‘a work of nature.’
He’s not the only returning cast member; in February Matt Damon said he’ll also return as a cameo but hadn’t filmed his scene at the time.
The Ocean’s remake currently has the working title Ocean’s 8 and will feature a huge line-up of stars including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Katie Holmes, Helena Bonham Carter and Awkwafina.
