We have another update on the very long, geez it’s taking a long time, new album from Tool. According to bassist Justin Chancellor in an interview with Metal Sucks, he’s said that the album is about 90% done! The reason as to why it is taking so long Chancellor revealed is because the band are being very picky with what they want to put on the album and have endless amounts of material to sift through. Keep in mind when the band records an album they essentially create musical compositions before lead singer Maynard adds his vocals to them. So what does all mean for Tool fans. The album is about 90% done, but we’ll just keep on waiting until it actually drops!
