Download Australia drops Lineup!

Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia / 99.3 B-Rock FM

Download Festival Australia dropped its lineup this morning and it’s pretty freakin’ awesome! The lineup contains a mix of up and comers and well established acts.

The headliners are Korn (who will only be appearing at Download), Limp Bizkit and Prophets of Rage. Also on the bill are: Mastodon, Good Charlotte, NOFX, Suicidal Tendencies, Gojira, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Falling In Reverse, Neck Deep,  Sabaton, Hot Water Music, Of Mice and Men, The Story So Far, Northlane, Trophy Eyes, Nails, Issues, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, Ocean Grove, Psycroptic, King Parrot, Clowns, Chase Atlantic, Cursed Earth and Alpha Wolf.

That’s a pretty solid lineup, but that hasn’t stopped a few keyboard warriors online voicing their thoughts on the lineup referring to it as Download Festival on a budget, and to an extent they would be right considering that Ozzy Osbourne and Avenged Sevenfold have been announced on the UK and Madrid legs of Download for 2018. But it’s the first Download in Australia, so the organizers need to keep a tight budget on the event!

All I can say to that is I hope these people don’t buy tickets and genuine fans get them. Tickets go on sale for the general public next Thursday 16th of November at 9am through the Download Australia website and will set you back about $175 or if you want to splash out you can grab a VIP ticket which will cost just under $300.
