A little bit of panic has set in for U2 fans recently after a cryptic farewell from lead singer Bono at the end of a show in Berlin. U2 have just wrapped their Experience + Innocence’ tour and according to the Twitter account @u2gigs Bono told the crowd ‘We’ve been on the road for quite some time, just going on 40 years, and these last 4 years have really been something special for us’ Then reportedly going on to say ‘We’re going away now’. Huh? What does this mean? U2 are breaking up? Well according to the twitter account holder it’s unlikely that U2 are ending their professional career, more likely just taking a break for a bit. Which means that Aussie fans could be waiting that little bit longer for U2 to return to Australia, we’ll keep you updated on this.
