The 2019 ARIA Awards will this year be streamed online via Youtube in a deal with the streaming and video giant and its Youtube Music platform. The awards night to be held in Sydney on the 27th of November will have two fan voted categories sponsored by Youtube including Song of the Year and Best Video.
To celebrate the partnership the ARIA channel on Youtube is releasing a tonne of videos from previous awards nights including many iconic performances from INXS, John Farnham, Powderfinger, You Am I, Hunters and Collectors and of course Silverchair’s iconic performance when Midnight Oil were inducted into the Hall of fame plus some of the acceptance speeches that went for too long or not long enough, Tex Perkins we’re looking at you.
