The ARIA Awards have announced its nominees for the 2019 ceremony which goes down at The Star on November 27th and the big winners just by the number of nominations are Tones and I, Hilltop Hoods and The Teskey Brothers.
The latter two are up for the big gong of Album of the Year with Rufus Du Sol, Dean Lewis and Thelma Plum the other nominees.
Dean Lewis also has a nomination for Best Male artist up against stiff competition from Paul Kelly, Guy Sebastian, Hayden James and Matt Corby.
Best Female artist will be between Tones and I, Amy Shark, Julia Jacklin, Jess Mauboy and Thelma Plum.
For the rock fans Midnight Oil (for their live album) and Barnesy go head to head with Amyl and the Sniffers, Holy Holy and Skeggs also getting nominations and Best Hard rock Metal release will be between Northlane, Dead Letter Circus, DZ Deathrays, Clowns and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
Hopefully Clowns or Northlane will pick up the award but knowing ARIA voters King Giz or DZ Deathrays may win. You can check out the entire event online via Youtube on November 27th.
