Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong dropped by LA Rock station KROQ yesterday morning for a chat about their upcoming album ‘Father of All Mother…’ when the question was asked what was the singers favourite Green Day song.
To his credit Armstrong didn’t trot out the line that all his songs were like his children and that he didn’t have a favourite. Instead he nominated possibly Green Day’s longest song ‘Jesus of Suburbia’.
Which is interesting because Armstrong commented recently that he doesn’t like long songs and that if they were longer than 3 minutes they weren’t worth his time. Probably a good thing because the new album which comes out next February is a short one clocking in at just 26 minutes.
