BMTH to never record another album?

They dropped their incredible new album ‘Amo’ at the beginning of the year and just recently Bring Me The Horizon released a brand new track titled ‘Ludens’ for the soundtrack ‘Timefall’ from the game ‘Death Stranding’.

In an interview with NME via altpress lead singer Oli Sykes revealed that the band are hoping to keep releasing new material in 2020 with the possibility that they may never record a full length record again. Sykes said about the recent recording process for ‘Amo’ that it took a year of the band’s lives to make the album, but question as to the reason why make a full record, when a portion of the songs are never played live. Which is quite true for many bands nowadays.

The plan for 2020 is that shorter albums or possibly EPs will be released rather than spend the time to write and record a new album, stating that their latest track ‘Ludens’ is the first single from a new record. Watch this space because I feel more bands could be doing it this way in the future.
