US Festival Sonic Temple have unveiled their insanely huge line up scheduled to happen on May 15th, 16th and 17th in Columbus, Ohio. Before yesterday’s announcement we already knew Metallica would headline two of the nights playing unique sets from the band’s back catalogue.
The rest of the bill does give motivation to head over to the states! The Saturday night headliners will be Slipknot who will split the Metallica sets on Friday and Sunday. Also appearing are: Deftones, Evanescence, Bring Me the Horizon (who were supposed to play at this year’s event but their set was cancelled due to the weather), Staind, Sublime, Rancid, Dropkick Murphys, Cypress Hill, Pennywise, Royal Blood, Alter Bridge, Anthrax, Pop Evil, The Darkness, Dinosaur Pile-Up with many more.
Only two Aussie bands have been announced so far with Warrnambool lads Airbourne and Melbourne’s Dregg to play. Having gone to this year’s festival back in May, Columbus is an awesome place to attend a music festival and the locals really do make you feel at home!
